Sunset in Shakotan

Micky has been travelling around Hokkaido with two of her friends. 
Their plan for yesterday was to visit Yoichi and Shakotan Peninsula, which is not too far from Sapporo, so I joined them. 

Got together in Otaru, we headed for Yoichi, the town where Nikka Whisky Company is located. Meeting up with a friend of mine, who works in Yoichi, we had fresh sea foods. Afterwards we visited Nikka Whisky, which is famous for Yoichi Single Molt and Taketsuru Pure Molt. 
Some friends, excluding drivers, tried some whisky and one of them, who visited Hokkaido for the first time, seemed to like it very much.

Then we headed to Cape Kamui, which is one of the famous travel destinations in Hokkaido, following which we went to Shimamui Coast to see this beautiful sunset. 

Coming back to Sapporo, we had jingisukan, grilled mutton dish, for our dinner.

I hope they enjoyed Hokkaido, the beautiful island I love.
