Elementary

I've decided to revisit some of the classics after my recent sojourn into the fantasy world of swords and sandals and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

I imagine that Mr Holmes wasn't an instantly likeable chap, what with his days in bed, taciturn behavior and cocaine use, but he certainly was a man of principle, for example, he refused a knighthood, he probably thought it was a bit too vulgar. I did notice that his creator and well known spiritualist wasn't so fussy.

Tonight I'll be starting on Great Expectations from the other master
