Monday 6 August 2012: Our Back Garden

Woke this morning with what appears to the start of a cold, heading was hurting. Anyway after taking some tablets and retiring back to bed for an hour or two I woke feeling a lot better.

The afternoon was spent in Lochinvar with Xtreme Bean and Just Gorgeous for lunch just before they made the long trip home and the Faerie Princess stayed with us for the remainder of our holiday. Due to the disaster of yesterday's dingy outing I bought a second boogie board so the girls could paddle out/ play together.

After waving goodbye it was back to Clachtoll for some more kayaking and water fun. The weather this afternoon has been fantastic, it was like being abroad. The sand was golden, the sea a beautiful turquoise and more important there was a bright yellow ball in the sky.

The girls played in the sea where I attempted to take some decent shots. When we first arrived there were hardly any people at the beach. Within 30 minutes it was overrun and limited shot potential due to the amount of kids running around.

Although FW is enjoying the kayak I've already noted a few things that would make it easier, one being a trolley to wheel the thing down and up from the beach. By the time humph the kayak back up to the car FW arms are dead from all the paddling and carrying that it's only a matter of time before we need to call Autoglass.
