Sunday Stroll

It was nice today to go for a sundry stroll into the woods near our home called Gillies Hill.

The hill is a historic part of Stirling having played a strategic part in the Battle of Bannockburn.

Unfortunately the hill is under threat due to an application to begin quarrying again but with views like this who could approve an application to destroy such a place.
