All Is Well

I spents some hours of the afternoon preparing to give a lecture, which I have rarely done in recent years. I didn't know how the turnout would be or how well my presentation would hold together as a single piece. As it turned out, we were seven very interested people discussing the ways in which religion confuses and impedes efforts to recover from alcohol addiction, and then we went for some food before the nearby pizza place closed. Several others sent regrets and good wishes.

But it was not until I returned home and found Max and Laura Earle patiently waiting for me that I was quite sure all of the stars were in the right places.
