Sunday 5 August 2012: Lightening Light
I wonder if a Highland Cow has ever been struck by lightening?
It was warm and sunny when I set off for my walk so unlike yesterday when I carried my waterproofs all the way not using them once I didn't bother to take a coat.
I took this photo just before a huge thunderstorm. Fork lightening and deafening thunder. It was a bit scary. By the time I got home I was soaked and needn't have had a shower.
But can you spot the rainbow? A special sight which only me and Barn witnessed. It did get me thinking though. Those cows are pretty venerable up there. Surely a prime target for lightening.
The telly goes off every time the thunder claps which is really annoying
