Max Winkler
Today we are heading off for a few days at the beach. This is a backblip of our dog, Max Winkler, 13, who died 3-years ago. He was a nut that gave us so many laughs. He loved everything about the lakeshore. Just thinking about him makes me smile. He was a rescue, straight outta Compton (literally) and he never lost the Gangsta attitude.
The guy that gave him to us was a film maker in LA. A mangy puppy walked across a busy intersection in the middle of a scene so he put him in his car to keep him safe. Later, he got a prescription at Walgreens for his parasitic skin disease (the bottle had his last name on it.) That's how he came to be, Max Winkler.
