Tuesday 7 August 2012: A three generation sheet
This is our grandchild sleeping under an old sheet made by my mother when she was expecting me (1956). The text on this sheet is in dutch: Welterusten and this means sweet dreams.
My four younger brothers and I slept under it, later my two children slept under it and now my son and his fiancée's first child is sleeping under it.
It gave me a very special feeling to see our grandchild sleeping under this sheet.
I wonder how it feels for my son and his fiancée and for my mother!
