Hole in the ground....

A new hole in the ground has appeared in the Greengate area of the city across the River Irwell from Manchester Cathedral. It’s taking the foundations of yet another new apartment tower, Exchange Court, the name a nod to the railway station that used to stand here. The huge, red beams are keeping the hole stable while the foundations are built, eventually they will be removed for the tower to be built. Extra pic isn't mine but shows what will be built.
