Adam's balcony

Mum wouldn't stop talking about the view from Adam's balcony when she returned from Japan, and I can now see why. Right in the centre of Tokyo, the view is truly stunning. This is the more compositionally interesting shot, rather than the view outwards, but I'll put it on the internet somewhere.

After Hard Rock Cafe on Friday, and McDonalds on Saturday (Adam really enjoys Western food) I insisted we go for real Japanese food for lunch. Japanese sushi, it turns out, is horrible. There's wasabi stuffed between the fish and the rice, truly disgusting. The thing Adam had looked nicer, which was just the fish, with no wasabi or rice.

Adam's flat allows you to rent electric bikes, and in the hot weather they are just what is needed. A cool breeze and no effort to cycle is a beauty. We cycled to Ginza for lunch, and then around the streets to another little gallery, which was just plain odd.

In the evening we went to Disney Sea! It was awesome, I felt like a little kid again. The queues for all rides were pretty long, but I'd come to expect it from the Japanese.
