Wednesday 8 August 2012: My new friends: Lover / Punisher
Yesterday I had a wedding day: eight years together with my beautiful wife and just getting better year after year! And because I am a super-romantic person I bought a present to myself: a new pair of running shoes!! :D (Well, think about the situation that I'd bought running shoes to my wife - might lose some points instead of getting them...)
Anyway, this picture ain't good or artistic in anyway and actually that's not the purpose. This is just the picture where you can see my new Lover / Punisher. Most probably I will spend 1.000 km's with my new friends. With these shoes I will struggle through 70.3 triathlon and few half-marathons so I will face both pain and joy with them.
Soon there will be autumn and winter but I'll try to remember Bill Bowerman's words: "There's no such thing as bad weather, just soft people."
Every day is a great day when you take care of yourself! And when you take care of yourself you will also take care of your spouse, your children, your work, your everything!
