Hebridean Weather

Gale force winds with driving rain have assaulted North Uist today. The ferry crossing to Harris has been cancelled and ours, tomorrow, is in doubt. The sound of the wind is pervasive and neither its noise nor the power of it can be conveyed in a simple photograph. For whoever last did it, lunching at the picnic table in the garden is a distant memory. We never quite managed it.
