Red Deer Stag

A short wet walk in the park this morning. A longer walk in the afternoon when the weather had improved. The rut is just about start. The stags have their new antlers and their necks have become thick and muscular. Many have also been indulging in mud baths and they have started roaring in the last two days. Let battle commence.
