Friday 10 August 2012: The Scottish Play

But not quite your usual Shakespeare.

Violet Shock cast of 'Beth (that's MacBeth) looking thoroughly in character on the Royal Mile today.

MacBeth set to a soundtrack of powerful Rock songs!

Now if that doesn't bring Shakespeare kicking and screaming into the 21st Century I don't know what will.

On a side note, I do like the fact that the covered body lying on the cobbles thoughtfully held up a handful of flyers with his or her last dying breath.

Very considerate I thought for someone who's just been murdered.

They're on at the Space on Niddy Street if you have the sense to go along for a bit of Culture, Blood, Gore, Rock and Roll.

Oh, and Murder of course.
