Kennack Sands to Coverack

Harder underfoot today with lots of rocks to negotiate along with a couple of tough down and ups, but all in all a very satisfying walk. Still a strange sky which looked more like a big feather duvet overhead.

Not much bird life although over the week we've seen Wheatears, Robins, Stonechats, Goldfinches, Buzzards, Kestrels and the odd Raven. Lots of Speckled Wood butterflies in amongst the heather and gorse as well as Green Veined Whites. I would have liked to have seen a Chough or two, but no such luck.

The weather stays perfect for walking. This is a picture of Coverack at the end of our walk. More in Facebook as usual.

As far as I'm concerned Autumn started today.
