The Balcony Scene

It's the third tuesday in september aka 'Princeday' in the Netherlands!

The day our King and Queen ride from their work palace Noordeinde to the Houses of Parliament at the Binnenhof in The Hague.

Normally they use the 'Golden Carriage' but due to a necessary restoration, we had the premiere to see them travel in the recently restored 'Glass Coach' for the very first time.*

After the Throne Speech it is tradition that the Royal couple go back to the Palace and appear on the balcony to wave at the public.
