Friday 10 August 2012: Shaft of light

A beautiful sun-filled day today. I've spent a lovely afternoon in the garden pottering and reading. It's been rather wonderful.

I didn't take that many pictures today but I liked this shot of one of our local swans swimming into this shaft of light.

Enjoy the beginning of your weekend - imagine there's lots of barbecues going on. I'll be going out shortly to have a few al fresco drinks with dinner.
