Burner

This is a burner, taken out of the gasturbine.
Each burner(unit) consists of several smaller burners, each of them being used in several loadconditions to reduce the production of nitrogen-oxide.
Usually the complete set of in total 18 burners is replaced by new ones during a so-called "combustion-inspection".
Such an inspection takes about 10 days, and the mechanics work in shifts 24 hours a day.
Also the boiler is being inspected, as required by the "Stoomwezen" which used to be a part of the government but now is being controlled by Lloyds.
