Bit of a Squash!

As well as having bats in the roof, we also have a nest of swallows, there are five babies, one is out of sight here! They are very noisy and can be heard inside the house too! This morning three of them left the nest and were flying around the garden but the parents are still feeding them all. This is a rather out of focus blip but there were too cute not to choose them today. I'm inspired to borrow Rosie's tripod and try doing a better job before they leave the nest.
We had the best day of the whole summer today, alas I was indoors at the shop, managed a lunch break on the beach and a paddle, found a little cove all to myself, which was amazing really as Schull is heaving with holiday makers!
