Street theatre

Seminar on welfare reform at the City Chambers this morning. Not very cheery for a Friday morning. Life is going to get a lot harder for some people. Our break out room face onto the Royal Mile, right above the street artists' pitch - a different perspective. I heard her say there are only 5 female street performers and she is the only one from the UK.

Another beautiful day! The sun makes everyone so happy. I bought a coffee table for the office and cake for 'the boys'. Then it was off to the seaside to look at a house. A lot of pros, including a beautiful garden. Mmmmm...

Then back up town to meet with M and B, down from Inverurie (home of Hannah Miley). The sun was shining but we couldn't find a free place in the sun so ended up in 'The Last Drop' for a drink, a chat and something to eat. The town was hoochin' when I walked up the road. It's the noise that hits you. Got home to find both #3 son and F there.

Early start tomorrow - off to the BBC@Potterrow for 6 and then a festival blipmeet at lunchtime.
