8:30pm and about to walk in the cool evening air with Mrs theWeir.

We've been graced with an overnight away *just the two of us*, which is a real treat.

This is harbour at Troon and we've just had a really great meal at Scotts. A real treat.

It was nice to walk from the hotel, along the prom and to the restaurant in the dry then watch as the rain belted down for most of the time we were eating (under a canopy that eventually gave up the fight and become a water transferrer rather than a water repellant) and then dried up for the wander back.

Delightful. And some guy ran fast for a short period of time. Another guy beat another guy at tennis. All between showers.
