Hanging on in there

I was potting up this hardy geranium this morning and noticed this hairy caterpillar hanging on. The geranium's roots had travelled far and wide so it was a bot difficult to dig up. I needed to move it as the landscaper needs access to another area of the garden and this was blocking it's path. My husband has dug up two roses and two Camellia plants. The Camellias were much easier as their roots were quite contained. The roses' roots were all over the place and were virtually replanted as bare rooted. It remains to be seen if they survive their ordeal. I think this is a Knot grass moth.
