Sunday 12 August 2012: Homework
Daughter had been given English homework at the end of term to be executed over the summer and handed in on her return.
She was to pick a book from a list they were given. She chose Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and Trainspotting. Once she has read the book she has to pick a character and write about him/her.
She read Hitchhikers on holiday but felt that there wasn't a strong enough characters so she is now reading Trainspotting. She hopes to get it finished today / tomorrow and the report will be written this week. Should ease her back into doing schoolwork.
Only problem now is she feels that there are so many strong characters in this book that she is struggling to pick just one.
