Trogir, Croatia

Not much sleep last night, as noise from ship being slapped by waves kept me awake. Had a walking tour of the beautiful Venetian style town of Trogir, which the guide likened to a box of chocolates with a new delight round every corner and she was absolutely right:-)

This is one of these corners and we were lucky enough to meet the owner of this gorgeous house, a local artist who makes ships from palm leaves!

Set sail through the many little islands along this lovely coast (anti seasick pills taken in good time!) and enjoyed the views and the luxury yachts sailing alongside. Would have enjoyed it more if it hadn't been so cold and wet to start - quite a shock when you have come prepared for hot weather.

Stopped overnight at the very pretty island of Zlarin, which is filled with lovely houses and lots of different fruit trees. Moving on tomorrow to Zadar, another gem in the Adriatic. Lovely people on the cruise with us so really enjoying the trip.
