Sunday 12 August 2012: The Circus
The Circus came here for a bit. Gave out flyers to announce their coming. Posted in the shops and pubs. Offered half price tickets. Delivered performances second to none to packed audiences.
I loved the clown, was awed at the skill of the trapeze artists and admired the band who played on even as the child in front fell through the hole in the decking..
Of course the child was rescued by his mum and the hole would no doubt be patched up for the next performance. I did after all tell the usher
