Hike to Nevada Falls

Today was my hike to the top of Nevada Falls at 5,971feet. This photo was taken from Clark Point. Liberty Cap is the big dome in the middle. Nevada Falls can be seen in the distance to the right of Liberty Cap. 


The crowd of people is one of the many school groups that are always present in Yosemite. They are usually young teens from inner city schools in California. For many of the kids it is their first experience in the mountains. They learn wilderness skills and the ecology of Yosemite.
