Back Blip - Bubbles

From the Camerapedia wiki: Canon 28mm f2.8 39mm screw lens. Six elements in four groups. Rigid, brass, with infinity lock. 1956.  Designed by Itō Hiroshi.

A new little toy to play with... surprising the joy you can extract from such an old little thing...  it flares badly, it doesn't like low light, all but the center softens insanely at f2.8, it needs a boost of contrast in post.... but the colors are so natural and, yes, Canon-like, character in spades, so light and small, easy enough to focus even though I am not calibrated any more in 'feet' (lol), when lucky to nail the focus and composition - it is aces!  I suppose I will get tired of the look and nuances soon enough and go back to my favorite lenses... good to get out of the standard playbook in any case for a bit.  :)
