The Norfolk Broads is meant to be famous for its waterways, so rather than spend our entire holiday carrying our children in and out of fun-fair we decided to do something more grown up with the family by going on a boat trip. Which still meant the kids managed to find their own child-orientated angles: our daughter by insisting on being the absolute first in the queue onto the boat to bag the best seat; and our little boy by wanting to spend the entire trip watching the captain inside his cabin at work.

This subject was onboard taking official souvenir pictures of the passengers prior to setting off. Somewhat cheekily, I declined her offer, but then asked to take her portrait after we had landed back to shore. She said she's a total hypocrite by not liking to be in front of a camera, which seemed a common trait amongst photographers. She still managed a strong pose here.
