In awe

E and I got up very early and drove to Rondane on this friday....we only had 3 days to hike and I wasnt sure if it was worth driving so far...but it was - it was an amazing 3 days.

The weather here in Norway has been terrible this summer but we were lucky - beautiful weather 2 out of the 3 days and it was even beautiful in the rain :-) We hiked in from Spranget and into Rondvasbu, which was only about an hour and a half. We then took a very old boat in even further and hiked another 4 hours until we made it to Dorålsetter. I was nervous that I had booked us in a lousy place...but it was lovely! The man running the cabin was real character and great fun and the food tasted fantastic. I love the hiking/cabin Norwegian combo....perfect!

Lovely having this time with E....she is a wonderful friend and person ....Im very lucky to have her around :-)......AND we had Diesel and Pixel with us, of course....we have become REAL dog people :-)
