Fruitful

You may remember back in March I spent more time in the nursery garden than in my office.

One of the tasks was to plant an orchard (8 trees really) which we had got from Fruitful Schools and a grant from the Central Scotland Green Network. Imagine my delight when I saw these bad boys this morning! Now I don't know my apples but thankfully the trees are all labelled so we can teach the children what they are and put the right ones in the fruit salad and the apple crumble.

Had a productive first day back, staff only, but good purposeful activity going on. Long may it continue, here's to another fruitful year!
