Glasgow Central Clock

Glasgow Central Station and the Hotel were designed by Robert Rowand Anderson, a well-known Scottish architect also noted for his design of the Scottish National Portrait Galley in Edinburgh and Mount Stuart House in Bute.

The Station has an amazing glass roof. In fact it is in the Guinness Book of Records as having the biggest glass roof in the world. The Station is a Glasgow Landmark Building.

The main clock that hangs from this dramatic roof structure is a major meeting point within the station. I am sure if the clock could talk it would tell some fascinating stories.
