Smiling in the Rain

No Gene Kelly. No singing in the rain.

At least not until the show starts of course.

That's the singing. Not Gene Kelly. There's plenty of songs from the 1940's. Vintage style in abundance.

Good to see the spirit from the Blitz of pulling together and soldiering on is alive and well. No rain can dampen the spirits.

I bumped into these lovely ladies on the Royal Mile of course, and they were most obliging to pose under their brolly.

They're the The Blitz Sisters and they are yet another of the Free Festival shows.

Lovely to see all these period costumes and hair styles around at the moment.

Makes the Mile a very smart place to be.
