Ourboretum

Getting some nice autumn colours at home too. This is rather nice Acer we splashed out some money on - Acer palmatum 'Sango-kaku' or Coral Bark Maple.  Gives a variety of leaf colours through the year but the distinctly pink bark was what had caught our eye.

In the evening we met up with others for games at a beer festival at the Foley Arms. To my mind, four guest beers does not a festival make but we had a good time, even if we did have to dismantle the pub at one point.
