Asparagus

This is what Doug picks from his vegetable garden daily.....we love asparagus, asparagus rolls for lunch, in stir frys, steamed, chopped in salads.  Delish!!

This morning I had a family portrait shoot out at Pleasant Point Domain. Being her patch,  oldTimer gave a hand with the place and holding the reflector.  Went OK, although the sun was very bright, their little 4 year old packed a sad towards the end.  I've had a quick look, there are one or two that will be OK.  Its always difficult with young children to get them to look at me, and their parents seem to look at the children at times.  Took plenty, just as well.

We've had two facetimes with Lexi today - early this morning, then again later on when they were all in the pool.  She is now jumping off the edge of the pool, goes under and comes up smiling.  What a gal :)  We must get ourselves over to Townsville soon.
