Desert Island Beach

I had intended to have a bit of downtime at home today catching up on a bit of domesticity but a friend reminded me of a Kayak outing we had talked about if the weather was fine, which it was! So we headed out from Audley Cove around the headland to Shelly beach which true to it's namesake was covered in shells, we swam and picnicked The sea was quite choppy in a fresh breeze but we Kayaked across the water to Horse Island and swam again from the deserted little beach that I had visited with friends a few weeks ago. My blip is looking from the beach to the Islands of West Skeem and Cape Clear beyond.
After all the rain it was lovely yo enjoy a proper summers day!
