Ladybirds and Autumn

We got up reasonably early this morning and headed out to B&Q to get a few bits that we needed.  Didn't manage to get any of them, so we went on to Screwfix - and they didn't have what we wanted it stock - so we went on to Homebase.  Nothing there either.  Boo!

Anyway, came home (and spotted these two very different ladybirds) and got quite a few jobs done - I cleaned the bathroom, while Tim fitted a baton in the new 'tray cupboard' he created in our kitchen - to stop the trays falling over.  I also returned a lot of things to their proper places in the kitchen and bathroom (stuff that's been stored everywhere else in the flat), and Tim sealed the new bathroom lights with some silicon sealant.

This afternoon, we took a whole load of stuff down to the charity shop, including a little hand-held vacuum cleaner.  Got home and did a bit more tidying, and Tim found the instruction manual and another attachment for the vacuum - so I went back to the charity shop to reunite them, then carried on to Sainsbury's for a few bits and pieces.

Came back and cooked a big spicy veggie soup, which we ate with some delicious crusty bread.  Perfect winter fodder!
