Late afternoon...

... gave the first hint of some sunlight on this overcast day. I had already arrived at Knaresborough Castle grounds in the hope of catching some autumn colour. A ten minute wait revealed a gap in the cloud enough to provide some back lighting to this old-fashioned street lamp.

The extras show some muted autumn colours and the war memorial with the unusual sky as a backdrop.
