Yellow moustache

Otherwise known as quiet wean nose flap. We are trying a new way of weaning the calves this year. They have this nose flap on for 4 to 7 days which allows them to graze but they can no longer suckle from their mothers but are still with them. Then we bring them in and separate them and they are meant to be less stressed, so quieter and settle quickly. Time will tell! They certainly seemed a little confused about their moustaches!
