Edfest Day Three: Nightshooting

So this shot is very, very early on the Tuesday, after our night of musical awesome at the BBC! Stef is on the left, Mark is in the middle and Em on the right.

The rest of Tuesday started late again (the Half Price Hut didn't open until Wednesday or we would have been up earlier) and progressed in much the same way as Monday, starting with a Free Fringe show of 'Lucy Cox: Attractive Audience Required'... quite how Mark and I managed to get in I'm not sure... and even more astounding this happened to me! So after that astonishing revelation we headed over to the Symposium Hall at the RCS to see 'Alternotive Acapella' - usually I just watch those groups perform on the Mile but this Oxford group were awesome and we managed to get 2for1 tickets - well worth it as they were brilliant!

A quick walk with a quick lunch later we were at the Assembly on the Castle Mound to watch the Korean show 'Hi-Kick' - a football/dance extravaganza that I thoroughly enjoyed (even with Ronaldo's scary wig!). It was then another rapid wander down to the Pleasance Courtyard to see 'The Axis of Awesome', 'Shappi Khorsandi' and finally, my pick of the day, 'The Boy with Tape on his Face: More Tape'. After we missed him in Cambridge when he was ill during his tour it really was a treat to get to see him perform a whole new show - some old faves were still included but his new finale is epically awesome and I'll say no more...

We rounded off the evening (or rather, Wednesday morning!) with a trip to see 'The Improverts' and an hour of improvised comedy gold that is well worth a visit every Fringe.
