An introduction to bar charts

Will and I were looking through the sweets left in his bag and he started to lay them out to find out which he had most of. As we talked about it we ended up laying them out like this. I then showed him some pictograms and bar charts in a year 3 and year 4 work book and he had a go, getting them all right. He was extremely pleased with himself as he is only in year 1. We had to photograph his sweets before I was allowed to clear the table and so it has become today's blip.
Other than that, today has been pretty non descript, after a fairly frantic school run this morning.
