Thursday 16 August 2012: 4 Leaf Conundrum
Quickie tonight. Reading time turned into a card sharp session so the planned blip didn't eventuate.
Here's a special section of the bookshelf devoted to flower pressing - particularly clovers and forgetmenots.
It makes me think how different the children are. L finds a 4 leaf clover and is convinced someone is trying to trick him. A portent of misery. Im looks for a clover to make a trick, finds a 4 leaf one and attributes every subsequent piece of good fortune to her lucky find. A portent of a fortunate life.
I see only a book that should be commanding my attention ;)
