Not just any beer, this is "Dark Island Reserve"

It was my birthday the other week and my lovely friend Angie gave me this as a birthday present. Regular "Dark Island" is a lovely dark beer from "Orkney Brewery" which I've enjoyed in pubs for many years. I can't wait to try this! The official website says this is best enjoyed with Paté, Red Meat and Strong Cheese, so it sounds as if I'll need to visit the market at the weekend before opening this up.

After a few beers at the EdTweetup I was feeling a bit rough so didn't venture out today :-)
