The Edge of the Wold

Back home again

We've been away, the clocks have changed and it's getting dark so early now.  In our absence the TV has stopped working - maybe that's a good thing, not that we watched it very often.  Anyway, I came home early on Wednesday, a beautiful Autumn day, early enough for a walk with gorgeous Gus along the estuary as the sun set.  Gus was still a little shaken after being attacked and bitten by another collie at lunchtime, I have to say I resorted to a kick to get his assailant off.

I will post a few backblips at some stage to show where we have been - there was lots of sunshine to warm the bones and make Vitamin D.  There were also vultures and flamingos, though not at the same time.

This blip is dedicated to the lovely and so very kind Wenda and to the memory of her husband David.  We are so glad to have had the opportunity of spending a happy day in their company last year.
