The Flowering Wall..

...in Ambleside, calling in for lunch on the way to Derwent Water in advance of the birthday celebs tomorrow. The guy who created the wall won a Civic Award for his efforts - apparently it was stunning during spring and summer. One of the little plaques on the section to the right says: "To plan a garden is to believe in tomorrow". Nice!
