Friday 17 August 2012: Crocosmia in blue...
Rain and grey clouds gave way to blue skies, sunshine and breezes today. I love watching the procession of flowers in the garden as the weeks unfold, each taking their turn.
An artist friend of mine observed recently that I respond intuitively more to form than colour - hadn't struck me before but she may be right. It is the form of Crocosmia I love, with it's scorching colours a secondary, though none the less beautiful, attraction.
