Recycle bin fire

We had a bit of excitement at Vanier College this afternoon. I was walking by after leaving the Existere office and noticed the commotion. A recycle bin for cardboard had caught fire. Fortunately, no-one was harmed. Security, Toronto Police, and the Toronto Fire Department were on the scene very quickly. Some people smoke cigarettes in the area and it was pretty windy today - which, because of the residence tower just to the left, also creates a bit of a vortex there. One careless toss of a match or a cigarette butt and it could have gone into the bin. I sure hope it was not a deliberate act. Regardless, it looks like a new bin is in order. This one seriously melted. Do they recycle old, damaged recycle bins? I hope so.

Sorry, the focus is a bit off from the subject of the image. I'm still getting used to this new phone's camera habits.
