Saturday 18 August 2012: The Skyline Walkway
Thanks to Kiwilizzie pressuring me, I finally did the Skyline walk this morning. It's a hard climb up the hill right above Murchison. One I've always wanted to do but have never been brave enough to attempt.
I've seen photos taken from up here, but to actually see the view myself was pretty impressive - can even see my house at the far end of town. However on the way down I did slip (even with the aid of my walking poles) and landed rather heavily on my backside. Now that's going to be an impressive bruise by tomorrow!
