Peacock Butterfly

On my walk to the village today I took a few pictures, but when I returned home there were some butterflies on one of the buddleia bushes; today's blip is of a Peacock butterfly. There were two Peacock butterflies as well as some others, mainly Cabbage whites, which did not settle long enough to photograph.

A lovely hot sunny day here and I now plan to get on with my studying having caught up with several outstanding jobs; I might sit on my swing hammock and work, although it might be too hot, not that I am complaining.
