Old Village Hall, Maryburgh

Today it was the Girl Guiding  Ross-Shire Annual Awards and Reviews of 2016. Members of Girl Guiding from all over Ross-hire met in the new Community Centre in Maryburgh. It was a cold and frosty day but a still a good turn out. We said goodbye to our County Commissioner who has finished a fantastic  hard working  5 years and definitely deserves a bit of a rest. It's incredible have much work is involved in being a County Commissioner, so thank you Moira for everything you have done for us :)
We looked back over the year that was filled with exciting events for all the girls with our main event being the visit from the Guides from Mexico.
We enjoyed tea, sandwiches and cakes afterwards all served by the Senior Section as part of their Birthday Celebrations :)
Luckily we were not in the building above as it looked rather cold and not sure if we would have all fitted in but I think it is the old Village Hall.
Got back just in time to watch the end of Andy Murrays semi final match, abit of a nail bitter but he did it in the end, phew.
