Advert at Ludlow Food Centre

A long leisurely cooked breakfast preceded a trip to Ludlow Food Centre for some more shopping for the Christmas hampers. This time we were selecting Shropshire produce. Ludlow is a foodie town so we were looking forward to buying some good local produce. The Food Centre is on a local estate, producing its own meat and milk, some of which is made into cheese. The shop also sells stuff made locally too, so it is a popular place and we were able to make some interesting purchases. And we enjoyed soup, coffee and scone in the cafe.

The main purpose of stopping off in Shropshire was a cousins reunion, of which this is the 6th year. A few were absent without leave but the rest of us had a good time with yet more talking and catching up. We decided that next year we'll have the do in August which would be more pleasant than a dark, wet November evening.

Back home to Kent in the morning, not one of the best journeys.
